Straightbedfun, Manskeetr, and I were just 3 d00dz who wanted to see Blue Valentine in celebration of Valentine’s Day. But somehow I mixed up the dates (I didn’t think the theater would be ironic enough to play BV on VD) and instead of Blue Valentine, which will actually play on Valentine’s Day, we got stuck watching the terribly bad & racist film, Super. It was so terrible that we left half way through and made our way to food & booze. After some quality chat, Manskeetr made his way home and Straightbedfun & I pondered as to how we would make it back north, seeing as public transit wasn’t that viable given our geographic positioning. So, in a moment of genius/bliss, Straightbedfun suggested he ride me on the seat of his bike through the blustery cold, much like that wonderful scene in Weekend (sans winter). This is the only moment I was able to capture. If only you guys would have been there…
